A spokesman for the Balochistan government on Thursday contradicted the news that Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch has invited the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl to join the cabinet.
In a statement the spokesman, Mir Jan Buledi said, “A meeting between the Balochistan CM and senior leaders of the JUI-F was held in Islamabad to discuss matters pertaining to by-polls in Buleda area, however, the chief minister did not invite JUI-F to join his government.”
He said that Dr Abdul Malik Baloch and National Party Senator Mir Hasil Bizenjo held the meeting with the JUI-F only to discuss political matters. He also said that but the JUI-F was not invited to join the government.
He said that news aired about the invitation to join the Balochistan government was baseless.
