Provincial Environment Protection Minister Col (r) Shuja Khanzada said that on the directions of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had decided to extend the Ganda Singhwala Joint Cooperation Parade (JCP) for flag lowering.
A committee had been formulated for the purpose to consider all the suggestions given by the experts for this extension project. He stated this while during his visit of Kasur’s Ganda Singhwala JCP.
Provincial C&W Minister and other members of committee accompanied Khanzada.
The committee members were received there by Brigadier Najeeb Gul, the Kasur DCO and the Kasur DPO. The minister said that the Punjab government had decided to extend JCP for 10,000 to 15,000 people. He said that it would be developed on the model of the Wahga Border JCP. The work on the extension project will be started very soon, he added.
The ministers appreciated the passion of the Rangers’ Jawans while the latter performed the JCP.
