Police on Wednesday seized a heavy cache of arms and arrested two accused from Lehtrar Road area of the federal capital on Wednesday.
According to reports, on getting information, police raided a house on Lehtrar Road and seized 33 pistols, 19 bore pistols, 31 revolvers, 24 twelve bore guns and one 7MM rifle.
Police also arrested two accused from the house and shifted them to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
Police said that suburban areas of the federal capital have become a safe haven for armed men.
