Two terrorists killed in assumed police encounter in Karachi

Two terrorists were killed in a suspected police encounter near Peerabad in OrangiTown on Tuesday morning here, a private T.V. channel reported.

Orangi Town SP Chaudhry Asad said that the terrorists opened fire on the police and two of them were killed on the spot in retaliation, while three of their accomplices managed to escape from the scene. He said one police constable was also injured in the encounter. Weapons and hand grenades were also recovered from the dead terrorists, he said.

The bodies of the terrorists were shifted to AbbasiShaheedHospital. They are yet be identified, however, police officials claimed that they belonged to a banned outfit.

  1. This is the way to do it, if they are armed to the teeth then just finish them. Anyway they get released if they are captured alive, either by big payoffs or threats against Police officers.

  2. if a drone can violate Pakistan airspace and kill "terrorists" along with civilian, that is not suspicious at all by our media. But a Police encounter always is, why the sympathy with criminals and terrorists? We all know what happens when they are arrested jailed or released by courts or by jail breaks! Cry foul when your courts are able to hang them without fear and dont let them go free. US Police fire to kill if anyone suspected to have a gun, whynot Pakistan? Police and other agencies should be given free hand to fire on any person suspected to have a gun and try to use against them or civilians.

Therefore, the deteriorating situation impacts the rest of the country. It is clear that the terrorists are trying to destabilize the government of Pakistan. We stand by the government of Pakistan in its quest for peace and commend their efforts to counterterrorism. We wish to see peace prevail throughout the city. We share a common stance against terrorism, and hope to work together to restore peace in the region.
