Heirs attack seminary after two children killed in Faisalabad

Heirs of two boys, who died on Sunday due to the collapse of a wall of a local seminary, on Monday attacked the seminary and ransacked the premises.

The wall-collapse incident occurred on Sunday in Azamabad area of Faisalabad.

Per details, a local seminary’s wall suddenly collapsed on Sunday morning, leaving two young students dead under the debris.

The heirs of the deceased children and local residents stormed the seminary on Monday and destroyed everything inside to express rage over the children’s death.

Other children and women present inside the seminary were moved to a local Darul Aman after the attack by the mob.

Heavy contingents of police rushed to the site and cordoned off the seminary to bring the situation under control.

The police took several of the rioters into custody, while others were forced to disperse by aerial firing.
