Rawalpindi police under its ongoing drive against anti-social elements arrested 22 lawbreakers from different localities of the city.
According to police spokesman, 1,245 grams of charras was recovered from their possession along with 530 grams of heroin, 56 bottles of liquor, two pistols 30 bore with nine rounds and one stolen Mehran car.
Ratta Amral police held Khursheed and Bahadur Khan after recovering 530 grams of heroin and 8 bottles of liquor from them respectively. Gunjmandi police arrested Qasir Javed on recovery of 4 bottles of liquor.
Sher Ali was rounded up with 7 liquor bottles while Riaz and Saqib were arrested with 4 liquor bottles. Fayyaz was arrested with six, Javed Akhtar four, Sadiq Khan four, Adeel nine and Raheel with ten bottles of liquor.
Shehzad Saeed and Awal Gul were nabbed for carrying illegal weapons. Sajjad Ahmed was arrested after a stolen car bearing registration no MLC-8750 was recovered from him.
