Society for Human Rights and Prisoners Aid (SHARP) organised a one-day training workshop for police officials on the topic of “Role of Police in Effective Handling of Human and Refugee Rights in the context of relevant Laws and Notifications” at Police Training College Chung.
Tayyba Rana gave a detailed introduction of SHARP while Salman Kazmi, a learned professor of international law, gave a comprehensive and detailed presentation on “Fundamental Human Rights”.
SHARP Field Manager Zainab Raza Jafri briefed the participants about “Refugee Laws and Rights” while Khalid Mehmood made the cops aware of foreigners’ act and notifications. After that Musadiq Shah gave a briefing on “Friendly Policing”.
