Police in its ongoing drive against anti-social elements have arrested 16 lawbreakers from different localities and recovered 1,112 grams of charras, 30 bottles of liquor, nine 30 bore pistols with 23 rounds, one 32 bore revolver and one 12 bore repeater with seven rounds from their possession.
Gunjmandi police held Javed with 14 bottles of liquor. Gujjar Khan police apprehended Taimur and recovered four bottles of liquor while Abdul Khaliq was nabbed with five bottles of liquor.
Sadiqabad police nabbed Yasir as 1,010 grams of charras was recovered from him.
Babar, Munir, Tanvir, Tahir, Pervaiz, Abid, Mubashir, Jahangir, Ayaz, Zia ullah were arrested for possession of illegal weapons and drugs.
