279 traffic wardens given pink slips

About 279 traffic wardens were dismissed on Sunday by the Punjab government over fraudulent activities.
After the scrutiny of documents including birth certificates and education documents submitted by traffic wardens across Punjab,
279 traffic wardens were found guilty of forgery and other malpractices.
When contacted, Chief Traffic Police Officer Sohail Chaudhry said that the said wardens were involved in tampering documents in their personal files when a seniority list for their promotion was in process. After a detailed inquiry, a case was registered against them by the authorities concerned in the Chung police station.
To a question, he said their documents were verified at the time of appointments, respectively, but they altered their documents when their seniority was being determined.
He said the government had taken serious notice of the case and dismissed all of them. Furthermore, he said that the police force aimed at enforcing law and not a single person who broke the law would be tolerated in the traffic police.
On the other hand, some of the dismissed traffic wardens staged a protest demonstration and demanded their restoration.

  2. Traffic Warden and Lady Traffic Warden (TWs) are Innocent. FIR/Show cause and news channels have not show same reasons. News channels shows that TW are dismissed on submitting fake degree, but it is totally wrong. In reality, issue is clerical mistakes (on computer record) related to date of birth, entry of punishment etc. Action against the TWs has been taken without any inquiry , which is totally wrong action by law. There internal department has made mistakes during the data entry of TWs. In fact SSP/CTO and SP office was failed to maintain the correct of TWs. So, to hide the mistakes of their on personal members (SSP/CTO & SP) they blame on the innocent TWs. SSP/SCT and SP office member entry wrong date of Births instead of correct DOB. they also made wrong entries of punishments in the AMAAL NAMA of TW

  3. THIS IS REALITY THAT MOST OF THE WARDENS ARE INNOCENT, AND THEY DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS TEMPERING, THIS IS ONLY DUE TO TARGET KILLING THESE WARDENS ARE HONEST AND HARD WORKERS WHILE PUNJAB GOVT. NEEDS REVENUE OF CORRUPTION.
    MEDIA SHOULD RAISED THEIR VOICE AND CHIEF JUSTICE SHOULD TAKE NOTICE FOR JUDISSIAL INQUIRY.

  4. What about the members of Parliament?They committed similar crimes and were found guilty yet they are sitting in the Parliament!!! The higher the status bigger the punishment but not in Pakistan. A criminal ex PML N MNA Bhatti was bailed out for a heinious crime against an innocent teenager.Shoud'nt that Judge be dismissed who accepted mere Rs50,000 bail? Should'nt the Prime Minister and CM Punjab be dismissed since they have cases pending involving their integrity? Why only poor people like traffic wardens. Are all the corrupt SHOs and subordinates allowed to indulge in corruption? Who will answer these questions?
