PU worker has a go at suicide

Punjab University (PU) Admin Department employee Sadar Muhammad was terminated due to negligence a few days ago. On Thursday, Sadar tried to immolate himself but was saved by his fellow employees and handed over to the police for further investigation.
Sadar said that he was terminated from his job and was thus unable to meet his family’s expenses which led him to take this bold step.

Robbers loot 7.5 kgs of gold worth billions:
As much as 7.5kgs of gold was robbed from a local gold center situated at Gumti Bazar’s Gujjar Gali.
Reports said that three robbers entered the shop where they held its workers hostage on gunpoint before fleeing from the scene via aerial firing after robbing gold.
The police reached the spot and filed an FIR on shop owner Kamran’s request.
In another robbery incident, a student was robbed in the area of Shah Di Khoi.
Reports said that a student of the Punjab University named Zeeshan was returning to his house when robbers riding car forcibly stopped him and looted a laptop, cash and a mobile phone before escaping from the scene.

Drugs dealers snatch pistol from police:
As per details, four police officials along with Nolakha Police Station SHO Shahid Mayo raided sites in Prem Nager to arrest drug dealer Azhar and his brother Shahzad.
Reports said that when the police officials reached the spot, the criminals opened fire at them. Shahid and the other officials managed to escape from the scene but the criminals snatched official weapons and a motorbike from the police officials.
Shahid denied the incident while talking to Pakistan Today. He said that Azhar and Shahzad were involved in many cases included drug deals and murders, adding that many cases of 780 and 302 had been recorded against the criminals at the Gawal Mandi and Nolakha police stations.
KIDNAPPED: Dipalpur’s Muhammad Hayee who had come to visit his relative in the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) was kidnapped by unidentified men on Thursday. The relatives of the victim went to the local police station to file an FIR but the police refused to do so.
