Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) MNA Alizeh Iqbal Haider has resigned from her National Assembly membership, media reports said on Thursday.
Alizeh was finding it difficult to continue her job in Dubai along with the responsibilities that came with being an MNA, so she decided to resign from parliament.
National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq accepted Alizeh’s resignation and forwarded it to the Election Commission for further action.
Earlier, Alizeh was elected MNA on reserved seat for women from Sindh on a PPP ticket.
