Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan reiterated on Thursday that a targeted operation will be conducted in Karachi. Speaking on the floor of the National Assembly, Nisar said the operation should be supported by judiciary adding that it would be led by Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah. The interior minister informed the National Assembly that calling army in Karachi would be against the mandate of Sindh government and injustice with the military. Nisar Ali Khan added that the army could be called in after having consensus with all the stakeholders. The interior minister further said he will also discuss the matter with Sindh chief minister and governor during his visit to Karachi on Tuesday.
