CM relaxes Health Dept recruitment ban

Punjab Chief Minister Main Shahbaz Sharif approved the relaxation in the ban on the recruitment against teaching and specialist carder posts in the Health Department on an ad hoc basis.
According to a handout issued on Wednesday, the Punjab Health Department issued instructions to the King Edward Medical University’s Vice Chancellor, all Medical College Principals, Specialist Medical Institution Heads and the Health Executive District Officers (EDOs), respectively.
They were asked to initiate the necessary process regarding the recruitment against all aforementioned vacant posts in their institutions on an ad hoc basis and recommendations would be sent to the department after completing all procedural formalities.
However, the recruitment of the vacant Mo/Woos, would continue to be processed through the Punjab Public Service Commission till further orders.
YDA APPRECIATES: The decision of Punjab Health Department to extend the ad hoc appointments for the smooth running of the health system was highly appreciated by Lahore PMA President Dr Muhammad Tanveer Anwar, General Secretary Dr Izhar Ahmad Ch, Dr Shahid Malik, Dr Kamran Saeed, Prof Tehseen Sahi and Ehsan ur Rehman.
CM GIFTS METRO BUS DESIGN TO SINDH: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday announced to give the design of the Metro Bus Project as a gift to the people of Sindh.
Visiting members of the Sindh Assembly held a meeting with Shahbaz in Lahore.
He invited all the provincial CMs to visit Punjab to promote national unity and provincial harmony.
CM TEACHES PML-N WORKERS DISCIPLINE: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif took notice against the violation of a code of conduct committed by Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N)’s workers during the by-polls.
As per media reports, in Hafizabad’s NA-103, PML-N workers held a rally from Pindi Bhattiyan to Sukhay Ki under the leadership of Member National Assembly (MNA) Mian Shahid Hussain Bhatti after his success in the by-poll elections.
On this occasion, when the rally reached Sukhay Ki, some jubilant PML-N workers resorted to heavy aerial firing. After the news broke in the media, the CM took notice of the incident and directed the police to take action against the lawbreakers.
Police authorities started their search for apprehending 27 PML-N workers after registering an FIR against the accused.
