It’s not over for dengue: two new cases

Dengue continues to hold Punjab in its grip as two new cases were confirmed on Tuesday. The number of confirmed dengue cases has now risen to 47 across the province.
According to the Punjab Health Department, two dengue cases were confirmed in Lahore and are being treated at the Mayo Hospital.
As many as 1,726 people are believed to the infected with the dengue virus in the province and during the last 24 hours 59 new cases were reported.
LTC REVIEWS ANTI-DENGUE ARRANGEMENTS: Teams headed by Lahore Transport Company’s CEO Khawaja Haider Latif visited various bus depots near Green Town and Kot Lakhpat and reviewed measures regarding anti-dengue campaign.
Latif along with staff of LTC inspected the cleanliness arrangements, monitored the sprinkling of anti-dengue spray while issued necessary instructions to the private transport operators to bring further improvement in their depots.
