Miscreants in Dera Bugti district blew up a gas pipeline late on Saturday, suspending the fuel supply to many plants.
According to sources, an 18-inch diameter gas pipeline for the plant of Well number 41 of Pirkoh gas field was blown up by unidentified miscreants, using a remotely-controlled explosive.
Two wells of the gas field were also attacked last week.
Security forces have started investigation.
GOODS CONTAINER SET ABLAZE:
Meanwhile, a container carrying goods of a private company was set ablaze in Dasht on Sunday.
According to reports, armed miscreants intercepted a Karachi-bound container and set it on fire.
The driver and cleaner remained unhurt while the miscreants managed to flee the scene.
Levies force personnel called a fire brigade from Quetta to put out the fire.
