Saudi Sharif’s doctors cure 25 dengue affectees

Doctors at the Saudi Sharif Group of Hospitals Saturday claimed to have cured 25 dengue patients.
“25 patients have been cured and they were discharged from the hospital,” Senior Doctor Dr Shah Dauran told Pakistan Today. He confirmed the increase in the number of dengue affectees, saying that “so far 125 patients have been admitted to Saidu hospital” According to him, 70 of these patients were being kept in isolation whereas the rest were in different wards and rooms.
Dauran informed Pakistan Today that emergency had already been declared in the hospital and in other main hospitals of the Swat district. He said that the doctors, nurses and paramedics were doing their best to save the lives of the patients affected, adding that the doctors, nurses and paramedics were additionally making donations to purchase emergency medicines from private shops and markets to help the affectees.
There were also reports dengue patients being admitted to other private medical centers and hospitals in Mingora and Saidu Sharif. Some of the comparatively well-off affectees were proceeding towards Peshawar and Islamabad into obtain ‘quality treatment and medical care’.
The doctors were of the view that the virus had been deducted by the district’s cold weather.
