US-banned religious leader Aminullah reaches Malaysia via Afghanistan

Jamia Taleemul Quran Wal Hadith leader Sheikh Aminullah, has reportedly reached Malaysia after he and his madrasa, commonly knwn as Ganj Madrasa, Peshawar was banned by the US government on charges of links with al Qaeda, Lashkar-e-Tayaba and other terrorist groups.

According to reports, Aminullah reached Malaysia from Afghanistan using an Afghan passport.

Aminullah belongs to the Shonkari area of Mohmand Agency which is situated near the Pak-Afghan border. He shifted to Peshawar decades ago and settled in Ganj area.

In Malysia, Aminullah is living in the Sarawak province, bordering Philippine and Indonesia where al Qaeda’s Abu Saif group is active.
