The Frontier Corps (FC) foiled a terrorist attack on Saturday, catching two terrorists red-handed as they were planting a roadside bomb in the Sariab Road area of Quetta.

According to FC sources, the two men tried to run away when they saw the FC personnel on a patrol. However, the security personnel apprehended them.

The bomb was defused by the bomb disposal squad who arrived at the scene.

FC sources said the terrorists wanted the bomb to explode in the morning when it would have caused massive devastation.
