Police arrest 14 lawbreakers

Capital police on Saturday arrested 14 lawbreakers, including three proclaimed offenders and seized 120 gram of hashish, a 30 bore pistol and stolen goods, a police spokesman said.
According to details, SSP Muhammad Rizwan directed all police officials for effective crackdown against criminals, bootleggers and drug pushers in the city ensuring their arrest.
Following his directions, Bhara Kahu police Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ishaq arrested thief Tariq Mehmood and recovered stolen goods worth Rs 30,000 from him and also arrested accuse Muhammad Masood and recovered one 30 bore illegal pistol along with five bullets from him.
ASI Zafar Iqbal from Lohi Bher police station arrested accused Taseen and recovered one punch from him. ASI Khalid Javid from Aabpara police arrested two fraudsters Jahangir and Zulqarnain.
Sub-Inspector Muhammad Khan from Ramna police station along with police team arrested four accused Aamir Ali, Sadam Hussain, and Sidra Bibi and Saba Bibi involved in immoral activities. ASI Tariq Rauf from from Shahzad Town police station arrested accused Najabat involved in theft case.
Sub-Inspector Abdul Waheed from Sihala police station arrested drug pusher Ghazanfar Ali and seizedd 120 gram hashish from him. Separate cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway.
Meanwhile Islamabad police arrested three proclaimed offenders.
The SSP has praised the overall performance of officials and said that Islamabad police is determined to ensure effective action criminal elements.
