Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday said the provincial governments should utilise all available resources to rehabilitate the flood-affected people.
The PM was in Qadirabad where he distributed relief items among flood-affected people and also took an aerial view of the areas affected by the floods in Ghotki.
Sharif said the provincial governments should evolve a strategy to handle any untoward situation that may be created by rain in September.
Earlier‚ the prime minister was briefed about the damage and steps taken to provide assistance to the flood-affected people in the area.
He was told that the required funds were not released after the 2011and 2012 floods.
The PM directed the authorities concerned to aid the flood-affected people.
