Acting CCPO Muhammad Tahir Rai on Friday suspended Naulakha Police Station SHO Inspector Ahasn Ashraf on finding dengue larva and insufficient arrangements of cleanliness in the station. He directed Lahore Police to follow the principles of cleanliness. He said police officers will participate in dengue campaign and teach the reasons of dengue to subordinates.
DENGUE ON THE RISE: Number of dengue patients has risen up to 43 in the hospitals of Punjab after the confirmation of virus in 4 more people.
As per Punjab Health Department, 4 more cases of dengue virus affected people have been confirmed in all across the province.
Sources said that out of 4 patients, 3 have been shifted to District Headquarter (DHQ) Hospital, while 4th was from Lahore and is being treated at Mayo Hospital.
