The Lahore High Court chief justice has directed the district and sessions judge, Lahore, to send a report about the submission of challan in a gang rape case before the trial court within three days so that the investigation could be concluded transparently.
According to news published in a section of press, a woman hailing from Pattoki visited her sister at Nishtar Colony. At night she was going to a doctor when three unknown accused persons abducted and gang raped her.
After the LHC complaint cell took cognizance of the offence, the D&SJ reported that the case had been registered against one Tariq Ballar Wala and two unknown accused.
The victim was medically examined and samples have also been sent for DNA test.
The accused have also been identified by the victim and now the investigation officer has been directed to make ensure arrest of the culprits and conclude investigation strictly according to law so that challan could be submitted at the earliest.
Meanwhile, the complaint cell has directed has D&SJ to immediately comply with the orders of honorable chief justice regarding submission of challan in three days so that justice could be provided to the victim.
