A criminal named Atique escaped from the police’s custody with the help of his accomplice while being brought to the Cantt Courts for his case hearing on Friday.
According to sources, Atique is involved in the murder of one ASI and has a bounty of Rs 500,000 on his head
DOGS FIGHT OVER THE DEAD: An infant’s dead body was recovered from a garbage disposal in Ferozawala police precincts on Friday.
The locals identified stray dogs fighting over the body at the garbage disposal and called the police to rescue the dead.
According to eyewitnesses, an unidentified man along with a woman threw the body in the garbage and fled.
ROOF COLLAPSE KILLS ONE: A man was killed while three other were injured as the roof of a house situated in Arifabad, Bhatta Chowk collapsed on Friday owing to intermittent rains in the city. The rescue teams rescued the victims namely Shahzad and Falaksher while Irfan died.
