Unidentified militants attacked a convoy of security forces with an improvised explosives devise (IED) in Bazidkhel on the outskirts of Peshawar on Friday morning. However, no loss to life was reported.
Officials said the militants had planted the IED on Kanal Road in the Badhbher police precincts. It went off when the vehicle was passing, however it could only cause partial damage to the vehicle and all on board remained safe.
Soon after the attack, the security forces conducted a brief search operation in the area, however there have been no details of any arrests.
The police have registered a case and have started investigations.
