2 bombs recovered from Quetta polling stations, voting resumed after 3 hours

Two bombs were recovered from outside two polling stations of Balochistan National Assembly (NA) number 262’s constituency after which the polling was shifted to tents after a break of 3 hours.
Media reports stated that bombs were recovered from the polling stations of Haji Bakht and Qilla Abdullah’s Station Shah Sawar. The bombs were placed on the main gates of polling stations, respectively, the reports added.
The Pakistan Army immediately cordoned off both polling stations and removed the voters from the site. The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) was also called from Quetta.
Details said that out recovered bombs, one was a ‘mud pot’ while the other one was defused by the BDS. Polling staff arranged alternative voting booths after the recovery of the bombs.
