This man wants to sell his eyes as he does not want to see injustice anymore.
Zulfiqar, a former government teacher and a father of three, has been struggling for justice for the last 22 years. He can often be seen protesting at Nabha Road near the city’s high court.
Almost two decades ago, he served in Government High School Ama Khas, Multan. He claims that on the behest of Late MPA Haji Boota, his school’s headmaster kicked him out of the school on a false allegation.
He says that he had appealed to former chief minister Ghulam Haider Wyne against the injustice meted out to him by the headmaster but to no avail.
“Whenever I manage to get orders for my reappointment I am either sidelined or am posted to a far flung school. They want me to bribe them for posting me back to my school in Multan but I cannot do that. I want my school back and after 22 years of injustice and inability to feed my three daughters, I have decided to sell my eyes. Neither will I have eyes, not will I see injustice”
