German Ambassador to Pakistan Dr Cyrill Nunn has called for strengthening Pakistan-German bilateral business ties. The ambassador expressed these views while launching the Lahore office of Pakistan-German Business Forum (PGBF) on Monday. Both Germany and Pakistan are planning to undertake further efforts to foster mutual business relations. A strategic dialogue at the level of State and Foreign Secretaries is scheduled for the last quarter of 2013 in Islamabad. This second round of the strategic dialogue will have a focus on bilateral economic issues. From 30 October to November 1, “Pakistan Business Days” are to take place in Berlin and Munich. Organized and facilitated by the Karachi-based Pakistan-German Business Forum (PGBF), a delegation of Pakistani companies will travel to Germany to meet with potential German business partners. The focus will be on energy, textiles and mechanical engineering.
