All the appropriate steps for the eradication of dengue have been taken at TEVTA institutes across Punjab. A comprehensive plan was designed to educate the students and staff of all TEVTA institutes for eradication of the virus.
According to a TEVTA spokesman, TEVTA Chairperson and Chief Operating Officer monitored and ensured efforts for cleanliness, mosquito reduction and necessary arrangements for the eradication of dengue. We have also made sure that all necessary steps have been taken for keeping the grounds, buildings floors and roofs completely water-free.
The spokesman also said that as per instructions of the Punjab government, grassy lawns and flower beds had exclusively been maintained and well-trimmed. Water tanks, barrels drums and buckets were also cleaned. Banners were displayed at various sites for dengue awareness. Cleanliness of washrooms, toilets and the sewerage system was given particular emphasis.
