Sikandar, who held the federal capital hostage for hours on Thursday, recorded his first statement with the police on Monday.

He said he did everything in a fit of rage and was ashamed of his act. He also told the police that he had purchased the two guns from a man hailing from Pasrur, whom the police have managed to arrested.

“Kanwal has nothing to do with my action, she acted on my directions only as an obedient wife,” Sikandar said, adding that he was upset because of the arrest of his son in Dubai.

Doctors confirmed that Sikandar was mentally upset and had been using drugs. They said his knee injury could take months to heal.

Earlier, Sikandar’s mother said he often misbehaved with the family in fits of anger. She also disowned him and condemned his act.

Meanwhile, the court sent Kanwal on a physical remand for seven days.

She was produced in an anti-terrorist court in Islamabad on Monday.

The duty magistrate had issued a one-day transit remand for Kanwal on Sunday.

Confiscate all of their assets what ever they have.
Show no mercy to this coward man. Arrest and prosecute all of their collaborators . Put them in jail for rest of their lives too.

  2. Fit of rage lasted for seven hours. Was it preplanned or really a very long rage? It must find a place in Guinness Book of World Records.
