After a long spell of monsoon rains, the city received no rain on Monday but partly cloudy weather conditions prevailed the whole day that kept the mercury levels at the lower side.
The local Met Office forecasted partly cloudy weather with chances of rain-thundershower in the provincial capital and its suburbs. The temperature will gradually increase as hot and humid weather conditions will grip the city.
According to the synoptic situation, seasonal low lies over northeast Balochistan and its adjoining areas. Weak monsoon currents are still penetrating into North-eastern parts of the country.
The city had maximum and minimum temperatures of 33 and 22C, respectively. However, the humidity levels remained at 72 percent in the morning and 67 percent in the evening.
