City police raided various sheesha cafes in the city and apprehended 36 people red handed.

Upon a tip-off, city police raided Café Times located on College Road and arrested 12 people smoking Sheesha, whereas New Town police raided Hang out Café situated at Malik Abad Plaza and arrested 14 people. Police also raided Blue Night Café located at Babrak Plaza and nabbed 10 Sheesha smokers red handed.

Separate cases have been registered investigation is underway.

 

PROFITEERS FINED: District administration fined 87 profiteers for not displaying rate lists the other day.

As per details, district administration launched an operation against profiteers and imposed fines up to Rs 29,850.

The operation was carried out by the Assistant Commissioners Numan Yousaf and Rabia in Industrial Area, Peshawar Mor, Sector I-9, Margalla Town, Pak Road and Tarnol.

Moreover, they directed shopkeepers to display rate lists and ensure the quality of edibles or face strict action under the Food Act.

 

VEHICLES IMPOUNDED: Capital Police on Saturday impounded 57 bikes, 7 vehicles and removed black papers from 27 tinted glass vehicles during general hold along with imposing fines.

According to details, SSP Islamabad Muhammad Rizwan directed all police officials to ensure effective security and patrolling measures in their respective areas.

The police officials have been directed to take strict action against vehicles being driven without documents, professional beggars and criminal elements.

Police launched search operations in various areas of the city and arrested 11 suspects.

The SSP appreciated the performance of the police and instructed them to ensure law and order in the capital.

 

LABOURERS APPREHENDED: Capital police on Saturday arrested 17 daily wage labourers during a search operation found without National Identity Card The police also impounded 43 motorcycles and 9 vehicles in police station for not driving without registration documents during general hold up.
