Rana Tanvir visits flood-hit Muridke, Ferozwala

Federal Defence Production Minister Rana Tanvir Hussain on Sunday visited several flood hit areas in and around Tehsil Muridke and Ferozwala.
Tanvir told the affectees that the government would stand by them in their hour of need and that all-out efforts would be made for their rehabilitation.
He said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government had a comprehensive programme for the relief and rehabilitation of the affected people, adding that relief camps were being setup in the flood-hit areas.
The minister ordered Rescue 1122 personnel to carry out all necessary rescue efforts.
“Boats will be arranged to rescue the affectees and to save their lives. No negligence in relief and rescue efforts would be tolerated,”
he said.
Tanvir said that he was regularly receiving updates about his area’s flood and relief situation.
Various individuals also informed the minister about their problems and he ordered their resolution on a priority basis.
Furthermore, Tanvir said that three surveys of losses due to rains and floods would be carried out as per the directives of the Prime Minister and the victims would be duly compensated.
Additionally, the minister also visited the flood affected areas of Mardana, Malik Pur, Dhami Shah and Dina.
