Fazlur Rehman, chief of his own faction of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), on Sunday said if Imran Khan wants to be a national leader he has to be a good father and good husband first.
According to JUI-F spokesman, Jan Achakzai, the cleric said Imran does not get tired of giving examples of the West but he does not mention as to how a politician is required to be a good father first before he/she becomes a public figure over there.
He said Imran Khan claims of mandate in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but forgets that the PML-N gave him the government in a plate at the cost of peace in the province.
“Elections were engineered even than it (PTI) got 35 seats against 65 seats of other parties so it has to thank PML-N for power seat.”
He said the rest of Pakistan already rejected the PTI agenda on May 11.
The cleric said the KP government would be crippled if it allowed the agenda of vested interest groups through back door in form of the PTI-backed NGO bills. “Particularly, education policy which has been sublet to an NGO, will be opposed if Islamic concept of jihad and heroes are removed,” he added.
He ridiculed the claim of justice by Imran Khan, adding that one truck has been hired to deliver justice. He said that as far as the accountability claims of Imran Khan were concerned now it is almost three months past yet no bill has been introduced.
“People are reading now in the media that jobs are being sold by PTI minister in KP even party funds being embezzled so his claims of transparency checking corruption ring hallow.”
