The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has increased the general sales tax ratio on CNG.
According to an official of the Sui Southern and Sui Northern Gas, the general sales tax (GST) ratio on CNG has been increased from 26 percent to 31 percent.
The gas companies have included the increased tax in the gas bills.
The Supreme Court had previously expressed reservations on the 26 percent GST on CNG.
