Four individuals including two children died as their houses collapsed in various parts of the city.
According to a Rescue 1122 spokesman, a roof of a rundown house collapsed after heavy rain at Chungi Amersadhu. Three individuals including two children were buried under the debris.
Rescue officials reached the spot and shifted the injured to the General Hospital where Nazir and his son Rashid both succumbed to their injuries.
