President Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday cancelled the execution of two death row prisoners.
A media report said Behram Khan was to be hanged on August 21 at the Karachi Central Jail and Munir Hussain was to be executed on August 22 at Vehari prison.
According to the report, both the prisoners were charged with several murders.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government decided to carry out executions after a five- year-long moratorium on capital punishment ended in June.
