Member of Sindh Assembly Sharmila Faruqui has said that Zamurd Khan of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has performed such an act of valour which Pakistan Muslim League-N’s (PML-N) tiger and Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) bat could not perform together. This she said in a statement issued here Friday. She said the whole nation was proud of Khan’s bravery because he rid the people of Islamabad the armed man who tried to terrify the citizens by displaying deadly arms. She said, “All security forces of Islamabad could not face a single armed man properly, while a single jiyala of PPP, following the footprints of late Zulfikar Bhutto and late Benazir Bhutto.” Sharmila said that the PML-N and PTI were all talk, but the brave PPP worker showed his courage in testing times. She demanded from the government to award Zamurd the highest award of bravery because only PPP had the capability to counter the menace of terrorism.
