Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) will hold free puppet show for children on August 19 (Monday) to entertain and educate them on health, education and environmental issues.
The show would be held at PNCA, Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage at 5:00 pm.
A number of children along with their parents are likely to participate in the show.
According to an official of PNCA, the puppet show is a regular feature of the council presented by National Puppet Theater (NPT) every Monday in the evening. The show focuses on educating children through moral and historical stories enacted out by puppets.
The show portrays many social problems to create awareness, better sense of civic responsibility and patriotism among the audience.
MUSICAL TRIBUTE: PNCA has scheduled a musical evening to pay tribute to the legendary music composer Master Ghulam Haider on Tuesday.
The event will be held at the PNCA auditorium, Sector F-5/1 at 7:00 pm. Renowned Pakistani singers from all over the country will perform at the occasion.
