  1. Respected Journalists and human rights activists;

    On 15th of the instant at about 12.45 a.m a group of militants ambushed a police van killing two policemen and a civilian at the village Shewa, Swabi. http://tribune.com.pk/story/591178/targeted-attac
    As retaliation, the police raided the nearby houses and arrested and battered innocent people openly to create terror in the area. The next evening, while the police was on its way to the police stations Parmoli, at the main Shewa Bazar, they arrested a boy named, Syed Aktar s/o Zarshad, village Shewa, and took him along to the police station Parmoli, Swabi. Inside the police station the boy was inhumanly treated and killed in front of the District Police Officer, Swabi. Then his body was thrown outside the police station at the main Shewa Parmoli road. On examining his body, it appeared that his nails and both eyes were missing; his neck and backbone were broken.

    this really a grim situation in the district, where the police officials commit extrajudicial killings and raid houses without any fear and violate the Chadar and Chardewari and openly abuse women, children and elderly. Journalists are specially requested to highlight the issues so that the district be safeguarded of the brutal police forces.
