The murderer of advisor to the chief minister was arrested by the police on Thursday. According to the SSP Investigation Abdul-Rab, the police formed a team and acting on a tip arrested the accused Tahir, Dr Fahmida’s servant, for her murder. According to the police, Tahir was a drug addict and had killed Dr Fahmida for money.
Four dacoits arrested: Sundar Police have arrested four dacoits and recovered a motorcycle, nine mobile phones and illegal weapons. During preliminary interrogation, the gangsters confessed 12 incidents committed in various places of the city. SP Sadar constituted a special police team under supervision of DSP Raiwind which arrested Arslan, ringleader of Jutt dacoit gang, and his three accomplices- Waqas, Farooq and Zulqarnain. Police have also traced some cases against them.
Teenager killed: A man was killed over a minor dispute on Thursday. According to police, the incident occurred in Wahdat Colony of the city where the 19 year old Aamir was attacked with a knife by a neighbour after they exchanged harsh words. Aamir was taken to Services Hospital after he was critically injured where he could not survive. Police sent his body for post-mortem and started investigation.
