Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch has invited religious parties and militant organisations for talks to initiate the process of reconciliation in the violence stricken province.
Addressing a flag hoisting ceremony at Balochistan Assembly, Baloch said that Independence Day was a very important day for any nation but unfortunately we are celebrating this day in the environment of grief and terrorism.
He said that the country, particularly Balochistan, was facing the challenges of terrorism and it was difficult for the government and security institutions to deal with it without support of the people.
“Terrorists want to make people and security institutions hostage but on this day I assure my people that we will not give in to their demands,” he said.
