Health Department (DHD) Islamabad has decided to launch an anti-dengue campaign in the federal capital and its rural areas from the first week of September.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Islamabad Aamir Ali Ahmad has directed District Health Officer (DHO) to conduct surveys of different areas including Bhara Kahu, Tarlai, Sahla and all union councils for spraying against dengue mosquito and to launch the campaign. He instructed that staff members of all union councils to be made part of the drive.
Health department will also conduct an awareness campaign to educate the masses against dengue fever.
