Sonakshi Sinha has indeed redefined the role of a contemporary Hindi film actress onscreen. With power packed performance in critically acclaimed film ‘Lootera’ that released a few months back, Sonakshi has proved that she is here to stay. And hence, filmmakers are going out of their ways to accommodate her in their respective films. Prabhudheva is one such director, who is believed to have redrafted the role of his leading lady in his next starring Ajay Devgn. Talking to DNA, an insider said, “To begin with, there was not that much for the heroine to do in the film. Until Sonakshi stepped into the project.” Prabhu and Sona have worked earlier in Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rowdy Rathore’ and have done a special song for the actor’s film ‘Oh My God’. They have even teamed up for ‘Rambo Rajkumar’ slated to release later this year. “People ask, why Sonakshi every time? I ask, why not? She is a big star and a complete actress. She can dance, emote, do comedy… And most importantly we’ve struck a great rapport since Rowdy Rathore. I thought she would be too busy to agree. But Sonakshi made time for Rambo Rajkumar. And now she has made time for the (untitled) film with Ajay Devgn. I owe it to her to make sure her presence is justified,” DNA quoted Prabhudheva as saying.
