Islamabad Police (IP) conducted a surprise raid on the residence of Lal Masjid cleric Abdul Aziz for his arrest, but to no avail.
As per details, a Lal Masjid spokesperson told reporters that the police said they wanted to investigate Aziz in a case.
His nephew, Haroon Rashid Ghazi said that the police had included the name of Aziz in 4th schedule. “We will stage a strong protest if he [Abdul Aziz] is arrested,” he concluded.
