Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sind General Secretary and MPA Syed Hafeezuddin met the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) managing director (MD) the previous day to discuss water shortage in his electoral constituency of PS-93.
Several other leaders accompanied him, including PTI candidates for NA-254 Naeem Sheikh and Jawad Jelani.
He condemned the poor water supply to the people of those areas where the PTI succeeded during the general elections.
On the occasion, he said, “It seems as if the PTI supporters are being troubled, even on Eid day, by the water board so as to please a certain political party. It is clearly a strategy against devised against the PTI.”
Hafeezuddin demanded of the KWSB MD to resolve the water issue or else PTI would raise the issue in assemblies.
On hearing this, the MD assured that the water shortage would be addressed on emergency basis in order to facilitate the people of the mentioned constituencies.
