Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Monday said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will resolve the current issue of rising tensions with India through dialogue.
Talking with media personnel outside the Punjab Assembly, he said that the PML-N government has always wanted to resolve issues on the negotiating table, adding that the Supreme Court’s decision on local government polls left a good impression.
Furthermore, he said that the federal and provincial governments would respect the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP)’s decision, even f the latter want to deploy the army, rangers or police personnel at the polling stations.
The minister said that local body election will be held in September but could be delayed till November if new delimitations were carried out.
