- Boy arrested for killing six-year-old step sister for tearing Rs 200 currency notes
Golra Police on Monday arrested a person for allegedly killing his six-year-old step sister Nazia Babi for tearing currency notes.
According to the police, the accused killed her sister for tearing currency notes amounting to Rs 200.
During preliminary investigation the accused confessed that he strangulated Nazia to death over a petty issue of tearing currency notes worth Rs 200. Police said that the two had a dispute over money. Nazia got enraged and tore Rs 200 belonging to her brother upon which the brother killed her.
Police said that they took up the case on the application of Razia Babi of Sector G-12 Kachi Abadi stating that she found her daughter lying dead when she reached home from her job. SP Saddar Zone Jameel Hashmi formed a team under SHO Golra Muhammad Siddique and arrested 13-year-old Irfan son of Manzoor Ahmed.
IGP Islamabad Sikandar Hayat and SSP Muhammad Rizwan have lauded Golra police and announced cash prizes for the police officials.
31 OUTLAWS NABBED:
Rawalpindi Police arrested 31 outlaws in different operation against criminals and recovered 1,500 kilogrammes (kg) of charras, 41 wine bottles, 18 pistols, 2 riffles and 12 bore pistol from them.
Taxila Police arrested Ghazanfar Ali and recovered 1,150 grams of charras while Kalar Syyaidan police nabbed Ejaz Ahmed and recovered 350 grams of charras from him. Police also recovered one bottle of liquor from Sujhawal Shah and 5 wine bottles form Shahid Riaz.
Similarly, Rawat Police recovered 30 bottles from Shabbir while Kahota police recovered liquor bottles from Waqas, Hasan Raza, Ejaz and Tahir each. Cantt police also recovered one 30 bore pistol from Akbar and one 30 bore pistol from Waqas.
Separate cases have been registered and police have started interrogation.
16 OUTLAWS ARRESTED: Rawalpindi Police have arrested 16 outlaws and seized 1,600 grams of charras, 29 bottles of liquor, 2 pistols, a carbine and a stolen Honda motorcycle from their possession.
According to a police spokesman, Ganjmandi police arrested Qasim and recovered 550 grams of charras while 1,050 grams of charras was recovered from Yaseen. Police also held Saqib Nazir with 10 bottles of liquor and Khurram for possessing 16 bottles of liquor.
R.A Bazaar police arrested Rizwan and recovered one liquor bottle from his possession whereas Morgah police seized two bottles of liquor from Suleman Majeed. Sadiqabad police arrested Khalid Shahbaz with a 30 bore pistol and six rounds while Airport police recovered a 30 bore pistol and three rounds from Farahat-ul-Islam.
Saddar Beroni police held Tassadaq and Munir for possession of illegal carbine. Naseerabad police arrested Sajid and Adeeb and recovered a stolen Honda CG-125 motorcycle with number plateSDO-4743 from their possession.
19 TINTED GLASS VEHICLES FINED: Capital Police on Monday removed black papers from 19 tinted glass vehicles and imposed fine during general hold up.
According to details, SSP Islamabad Muhammad Rizwan directed all police officials to ensure effective security and patrolling measures in their respective areas. He also instructed officials to take strict action against vehicles being driven without documents, professional beggars and criminal elements.
Islamabad police launched a crackdown and impounded 54 bikes and 19 vehicles during general hold up. The SSP appreciated the performance of the police officials and directed them to ensure to ensure foolproof security in their respective areas.
