Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Sunday said the recent war was imposed on Pakistan in the name of so-called war on terror.
“Now it is our responsibility to secure Quetta by disarming it from every kind of weapons,” he added.
He was talking to the media in Quetta along with Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik. He said the chief of army staff has assured to assist them with 5,000 personnel trained by the army equipped with latest skills and weapons.
He said the federal government is standing by the provincial government in order to defeat terrorists, with the hope that law and order situation in Balochistan would be restored very soon.
He said the current war was not war of Pakistan rather it was imposed on the country. But more regrettable thing is that previous governments fought war on terror without any national security policy. There is sound and fury all over the country.
“The government would take all stakeholders into confidence to flush out terrorists. “
Our enemy is unseen. It is war of our survival. The entire nation is standing by Balochistan government in this hour of trouble and trial,” said Interior minister.
He also paid tributes to the martyred security officials and announced special award for martyred DIG operations.
