Multan City Police Officer (CPO) Muhammad Shoaib has said there is no truth in reports of Taliban involvement in abduction of former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani’s son Ali Haider Gilani.

Addressing a press conference in his office on Thursday, the CPO refuted reports of Taliban involvement in Ali Haider’s abduction, saying “we have no confirmation of such reports and neither Gilani nor any of his family members has contacted us in this regard”.

Shoaib said the police had increased the former prime minister’s security as well as that of his family.

The Multan CPO said they were working to combat terrorism with the cooperation of other agencies, adding that strict security measures had been taken in the city for Eidul Fitr.

  1. What is more important in life, an extremely huge sum of money gathered by dishonesty, deceit, dishonesty and drug dealings or a reasonably happy and peaceful life, with dignity and honor? Alas most people value money over moral values, just to regret when heaps of money brings uncertainty and insecurity.

    • Alas Nawaz Sharif, Mansha group, and Sharif brothers never learnt a lesson from Yuosuf Raza Gilani

  2. Taleban are not that kind of people They always do something of a great nature and abducting a man is not on the agenda it must have been done by other organizations who are against the family of ex PM Gilani

    • What great things these Taliban LUCHAZ and loafers can do? Tell me. Their gutter mentality can only think of abductions. U r talking as if these scum are great philosophers. Are u their spokesperson?
