Partly cloudy weather in the city on Tuesday provided a sigh of relief for the citizens while drizzling in various locations kept the weather pleasant.
The local Met office forecasted partly cloudy weather with chances of rain-thundershowers in Lahore on Wednesday. The report forecasted a seasonal low over Northwest Balochistan and its adjoining areas. Monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea were penetrating into the upper and central parts of the country, it added.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 35 and the minimum at 25 degrees Celsius with 80 percent humidity in the morning which increased to 89 percent in the evening.
The duty Officer at the Lahore MeT office said that there were no chances of flooding in River Ravi and its catchments as the reduction in rains and the lesser release of water from India had lowered the water levels of Ravi. However, he said that if India released excessive water there could be an alarming situation, he added.
